This includes a digester kit and Installation / User's Guide. We ONLY ship to the lower 48 contiguous states. BULK ORDERS: If you have a group that can team up on the purchase a bulk quantity of these, it becomes very affordable to ship them via LTL Truck Freight when you reach a quantity of only a dozen (12). PET POOP: We know a lot of people use these for DIGESTING PET POOP - we now have a Pet Waste Digester Powder Kit developed specifically to breakdown fecal waste - the menu pull down allows you to select that choice for an additional $7. It comes with 4 oz. of powder, a special yellow lid and a different jar label so you will not get the digester jars confused. YARD DEBRIS: Green Cones were not developed to handle yard waste and we understand you may have a lot of organic debris that needs to be composted. We are now able to ship INSIDE the Green Cone a yard waste composter for $66 called the Compost Sak. It is soft bodied and can be moved around from place to place. PRODUCT INFORMATION
Originally developed in the UK for breaking down and composting food waste, this in-ground, solar digester uses heat from the sun to generate high internal temperatures for faster microbial activity. In addition to providing insulation, the air chamber created by the dual cones allows for passive convection currents to continually move fresh air through the system, providing the necessary oxygen to maintain aerobic conditions, which helps to mitigate foul odors. Depending on the year of production, these have been fabricated in Canada (Ontario), the US (New Jersey) and currently in the UK (Leeds). Designed to operate effectively in both warm and cold climates.
Protected, underground basket is difficult for hungry critters or curious pets to access - but easy to empty when filled with finished compost. The system provides sufficient capacity to digest 1.5-2 lbs of food waste per day (scraps from 3-5 adults). The Green Cone may also be used to effectively break down solid pet poop and during emergency situations, human solid waste. PLEASE NOTE: The top bar on the outer green cone piece is for stability during the manufacturing process. Some have been pre-removed at the factory, while others still have them attached. If yours comes with one, you may remove it or keep it attached - it does not affect the performance either way. Use gloves when handling the black and green cone parts, as they have sharp inner surfaces. 
User's Guide / Manual
To make your own user's guide, simply select landscape 100%, print on both sides and "flip on short edge" - this should allow you to use 8.5x11 paper and fold in the center to make the booklet.
DIGESTER ENZYME POWDER (US Only)The enzymatic digester / beneficial microbe mix will assist with breaking down food waste in your Green Cone. It is optional and absolutely not required, but it will definitely assist with the decomposition process, especially in colder climates, winter months, and soils with low microbial activity. Specifically, the powder includes 4 principal enzyme types (lipases, anylases, proteases and cellulases) and both mesophilic and thermophilic bacteria on a cereal base (tan) or salt base (white). Both work identically.
Due to the volume of requests, we now have an ecologically safe Pet Waste Digester Powder that was developed specifically for solid pet waste. We now ship these in 1 lb (16 oz) bags. Approx. 3.5 oz fills the jar. Store the remaining packets somewhere cool, dark and dry (pantry is fine).
REPLACEMENT PARTS: Green Cone (US Only)REGARDING 'DISPLAY' LIDS BELOW: these are Green Cone replacement lids that have small imperfections, small cracks, cuts, dirt, blemishes, warps, scratches, etc - but should function adequately as a new part.
